My name is Alfredo Martín, I was born in Spain and from an early age I moved around the world in search of a place to fit in and as a part of a life learning…until this became a lifestyle.
At some point, I ended up in Australia, where I made a life for over 10 years. It was Down Under where I made real contact with the surf industry by getting full on into surfing and kitesurfing, having the chance to join a wonderful team with one of the best and biggest names in the surf industry in the world and based in one of the most iconic locations world wide, where you breath surf from dawn to dusk.
There, I had the priceless opportunity to learn from some of the top and best gifted professionals in the industry, where I could ask questions, absorb knowledge and practice until you nail it.
Having been so far from my origins for such a long time, I started to consider returning to the place that I always I felt I belong to, so I decided to be a “DOER” one more time, and move back to Fuerteventura, Canary Islands, Spain, bringing part of that knowledge and experience to the other side, the northern hemisphere.
Packed all the amusement, enjoyment and knowledge that I got on one side of the world, brought it to the place that put a smile on my face and do what I love to do… taking with me the best from Both Sides.

WHAT IS CFT??
(Carbon Frame Technology)
Developed after studing and testing several and similar
technologies, CFT is he result of the combination of a high
quality stringless EPS core with different densities and
laminated combining 2 different types of high quality E-glass
cloth or Basalt cloth and epoxy resin into a carbon frame.
The CARBON FRAME TECHNOLOGY performs in a way that
maximizes speed and minimize the twist, being able to hold
and release energy as the surfer pushes the board through
angles and turns, providing a high response when is needed.
CFT boards are fast, light and high performance machines
with a lot to squeeze, from intermediate to advance
level… but also for those who want to learn and and step up
their surf level in every session.
BASALT ROCK CLOTH
BASALT mineral is the 90% of the volcanic lava in the
world…we are based in the Canary Islands and this is a 100%
volcanic origen archipelago…put things together and you will
have the answer of our inspiration to use BASALT CLOTH on
our ROCK RESISTANCE line.
We use BASALT CLOTH on our ECO line, combined with
recycled foam blanks and laminated with a last generation Bio
resin- GREEN POXY
BASALT fiber performance is even better than glass fiber, it
has a higher breaking point and better resistance to UV
radiation, has a high coefficient of thermal expansion and is
less susceptible to degradation. Basalt fibers are easily wetted
and therefore allow for rapid resin impregnation, making
them suitable for lamination.
The fiberization process is safer for the environment than
fiberglass. The «greenhouse» gases that might otherwise be
released during fiber processing, were vented millions of years
ago during magma eruption. In addition, basalt is 100 percent
inert, that is, it does not react toxically with air or water, it is
fireproof and explosion-proof.

CFT Lamination- ESP(stringless)+Epoxy resin
STANDARD: 4+10.5Using a signature QUAD AXIAL LAMINATION on the deck, the
layers of E grade fiberglass are layer on 4 different orientations
to deliver maximum strength of the glass fibers laid out flat
and stacked on top of one of another, along with a powerful
and balanced combination of longitudinal and torsional flex.
This lamination will disperse the compressional load from
your feet to help prevent denting on the deck of your board
(the EPS foam will naturally always dent, but compared with
a standard 4×4 lamination , there is quite an improvement). A
standard «CFT» lamination will have 10.5oz of cloth on the
deck and 4oz on the bottom.
This next level of strenght and stiffness will add around 13% of
fiberglass to your lamination to give added support to the
pressure the board will be exposed to. Recommended for
surfers looking to surf more powerfull waves where strength,
stiffness and weight, can start to play a contributing factor to
your boards performance. A PLUS CFT lamination will have
10.5oz of cloth on the deck and 6oz on the bottom.
This is the maximum level of stiffness and strength that we
offer and will add around 25% more fiberglass to your
laminate. Increasing both, the deck and bottom lamination
fiber weight will overall give you a stronger and stiffer
lamination. Recommended for those who are looking for a
long term durability or a board that will handle some of the
most powerful conditions. A CFT SUPERIOR lamination will
have 12.5oz on the deck and 6oz on the bottom.
STANDARD: 4+8
Using only the highest quality 4oz E grade fiberglass,
Both Sides combines two layers on the deck with a single 4oz
layer on the bottom. Your PE construction is laminated using
ultra-white, high quality epoxy resin for the best flex response,
along with a longer life span on the flex. The epoxy resins are
also lighter than traditional polyester resins.
This next leve lof strength add 25% more cloth to the deck of
your board with a layer of 4oz and 6oz E grade fiberglass. This
gives the deck more durability and stiffness for those looking
for it. Your PE construction is laminated using ultra-white, high
quality epoxy resin for the best flex response, along a longer
life span of the flex. The epoxy resins are also lighter than
traditional polyesther resins.
This is the maximum level of stiffness and strength that we
offer and will add around 50% more fiberglass to your
laminate. Increasing both, the deck and bottom lamination
fiber weight will overall give you a stronger and stiffer
lamination. We have a layer of 4oz and 6oz on the deck with a
single layer of 6oz on the bottom. It is recommended for those
who are looking for a long term durability or a board that will
handle some of the most powerful conditions. Your PE
construction is laminated using ultra-white high quality epoxy
resin for the best flex response, along with a longer life span of
the flex. The epoxy resins are also lighter than traditional
polyester resins.
